Christina Jussaume is the Christian author of the following books: My walk with Jesus (2007), Joseph’s Star of Eternal Promise (2008); AND Living spiritual waters flowing in the word (2008). She is an accomplished Christian poetry writer and has received many accolades and accolades for her poetry. She is the invention of the famous Christ-in-a-Rhyme poetry and other poetic forms. She should be complimented for all her poetic efforts and inventions.

Christina is a true lover of pets and animals. Kitties are close to her heart. She has a favorite name for them like: Fluffy, Tamatha, and Mitten her first litter and real mischievous. Cocoa is the cute cat who always relaxes. Jake is the one who stole the cake in the black tuxedo; Joshua the apple of her black and white eye; and Magic is just a precious soul. The magic has been missing lately and hopefully by now it has been found. Christina has written a special poem about Magic for Magic.

Her love for Magic is like a mother’s love for her child. I also remembered losing a cat as a child and it was like losing my best friend. Her kitten stories are simply adorable and will bring joy to readers’ hearts. Christina also mixed special spices in this book just like she is baking a special cake. The fables give the book a special touch. I love the story at the beginning with turkey and chickento The farmer, The Peacock and the FoxAND The Giraffe Family, Fables are like the spices in a special cake. The moral of these stories is also very poignant.

This book is very pleasing to the eyes with the variety of pictures she has included. Pictures are worth a thousand words about the poems they go with. These photos are very touching and bring a sense of pride to the page. As always, her special friend Pat Simpson has performed wonderfully for her in creating the pages as her publisher.

One aspect that is always special and stands out in Kristina’s book is her parents. They are always honored for their love and education. Moreover, her children are close to her heart and are given the appreciation of a precious mother. Family love certainly has a special place in her heart. Christina is truly amazing in the way she brings Tinniesville, a small rural town, in her poems. Her articulation is wonderful about the history of this city. This is a great story broken down and written like a poem for everyone to enjoy in a different reading style. This is so great! Once again this creativity speaks to her excellent writing style.

This book is also a teaching tool. Reading about the Australian Kookaburra is a lesson in itself. I was under the impression it was a relative of the Kangaroo until I finally read the page and saw the picture. How amazing! Plus, Denny Dolphin is a lot of fun to read. Wait until you see Donna teasing Danny into a dance with her. They are so awesome and connected to each other. The variety of poetry forms used in this book is an education for the reader. I like how the Tanka shape depicts the hawk, and the Nones form the eagle. Quatrain form gives deep vision Doggy Tales, Rabbit rabbits, The family of the Bear, the condition of the Tiger, The Flying Squirrel, and others. I also love the pictures used with each poem.

Her articulation of haiku and senryu poems is simply amazing. Her double verse of these poems is excellent in describing the animals and their relationships. Photos of Sly Skunk AND Prairie dog are well placed with each page and corresponding poem. This is definitely another great release from Christina in her series of books and poetry collection. She is certainly building a library for her readers. Having known Kristina for many years, knowing her creative poetic style and having read all four of her books, I can testify that she is a wonderful poet.

Getting and reading her books is certainly a blessing in itself. Her articulation of poetic lines is certainly poignant, poignant and uplifting.
